All is in Wonderland
Leap now: follow the white rabbit down into its hole and get lost in imaginary and amazing worlds spreading their roots underground and reflecting our life on the surface. Come and spend a spectacular week with us as we lose our grip on reality and dive headfirst into a free-fall journey through the universe, the
cosmos and every nook and cranny of the contemporary puppet, marionette and object theatre scene. Explore your imagination and delve into the kaleidoscopic array of artistic wonderlands created by the 34 theatre groups, soloists and drama and theatre schools from 11 different countries at la notte 6, on the Family Day and in the festival‘s stage programme.
These events will give you the opportunity to see the Baroque world blown to pieces, the Buckau district reconstructed in a new installation, Pulcinella defeat death and lonely souls float above the ground. You can also watch a frog sitting at the base of a fountain and collecting houses, rooms reorganising themselves and the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen hosting a special dinner. All of these stories reflect our desires, our everyday lives, our hopes and our fears. They are moving and uplifting, terrifically entertaining, as sad as can be or outlandishly bizarre. What are you waiting for? Come and take the leap and dive into the rabbit’s hole!
