Begleitend zum Festival lädt ein vielfältiges Rahmenprogramm dazu ein, das Thema „Kasper und die Lustige Figur“ auf ganz unterschiedliche Weise zu erleben – zum Mitmachen, Zuschauen und Austauschen.

In Pop-up-Workshops und offenen Vermittlungsformaten können Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene selbst aktiv werden und das Figurenspiel aus neuen Blickwinkeln entdecken. Zu den besonderen Programmpunkten zählen die Filmvorführung Popcorn, Punch & Pillows am Donnerstag sowie die Kasper-Karaoke am Freitagabend. Am Samstag wird es trubeliger, denn der Tag steht ganz im Zeichen des Jahrmarkts. Der Eintritt zur Figurensammlung ist frei, auf dem Gelände sorgen Walk Acts und Straßentheater für überraschende Begegnungen und lebendige Spielszenen. Zusätzlich erwarten das Publikum gleich sechs Produktionen, die sowohl auf den Bühnen als auch unter freiem Himmel rund um das Puppentheater gezeigt werden.

Das Rahmenprogramm richtet sich an Festivalbesucher*innen jeden Alters.

Accompanying Programme

Alongside the main festival, a diverse accompanying programme invites audiences to explore the theme of “Kasper and the Comic Character” in a variety of ways – through participation, observation, and exchange.

In pop-up workshops and open educational formats, children, young people, and adults are encouraged to get involved and discover puppetry from new perspectives. Programme highlights include the film screening Popcorn, Punch & Pillows on Thursday and the Kasper Karaoke on Friday evening. Saturday will take on a more festive atmosphere, as the day centres around the spirit of a traditional fairground. Admission to the puppet collection will be free, while walk acts and street theatre performances bring spontaneous encounters and vibrant scenes to the theatre grounds. In addition, audiences can look forward to six productions presented both on stage and open-air around the venue.

The accompanying programme is open to festivalgoers of all ages.

Eröffnung

Im Anschluss an die ersten Vorstellungen laden wir am Mittwoch, um 20:00 Uhr, zur Eröffnung des Festivals durch die Intendantin Sabine Schramm und durch das künstlerische Leitungsteam des Festivals ein. Begleitet werden wir dabei vom Ensemble des Puppentheaters und dem Musiker Martin Kaspar Orkestar von der französischen Compagnie La Pendue. Stoßen Sie mit uns auf fünf Festivaltage an!

Following the first performances, we invite you to the official opening of the festival on Wednesday at 8:00 pm, with Festival Director Sabine Schramm and the artistic team of the festival. The event will be accompanied by the ensemble of the Puppet Theatre and musician Martin Kaspar Orkestar from the French company La Pendue.

Ob auf eine Partie Kasper-Ärgere-Dich-Nicht, zum Austausch über das Gesehene oder zum großen Kasper-Chaos-Workshop am Samstag – seid herzlich eingeladen, am Zirkuszelt auf dem Kiesplatz vorbeizuschauen. Hier ist Platz für Fragen, Kommentare und zum selbst aktiv werden.

Kasper-Chaos – Anarchistischer Workshop

Der Kasper prügelt sich, lügt, schimpft, schreit und macht kaputt. Und alle sitzen brav im Theater und schauen zu? Wer dabei nur unruhig auf dem Stuhl herumrutscht, ist herzlich eingeladen zu ein bisschen Anarchie! Wir helfen euch, den Kasper in euch hevorzubringen und dann heißt es nur noch: Auf die Plätze, fertig, los! Lasset das Chaos beginnen.

Schnappt euch ein Mikro und eine Puppe, es geht los: Zum Abschluss des dritten Festivaltages zeigt das Ensemble des Puppentheaters Magdeburg, welche lustigen Figuren vergangener Inszenierungen weiter in ihnen schlummern. Hat da jemand Anarchie gesagt? Mutige nach vorne, wenn es heißt: Wer nicht singt, muss wenigstens trinken!
