32 Compagnien aus 10 Ländern in mehr als 60 Vorstellungen

Das BLICKWECHSEL Festival lädt vom 20. bis 27. Juni BESTE FREUNDE nach Magdeburg ein.

Genreprägende Künstler und zeitlose Inszenierungen stehen gleichberechtigt mit Produktionen junger Kolleg*innen und repräsentativ für das zeitgenössische Figuren- und Objekttheater im Spielplan. 32 Compagnien aus 10 Ländern in mehr als 60 Vorstellungen und künstlerischen Begegnungen verschieben lustvoll tradierte Genregrenzen. Der intime Dialog zwischen Künstler und Zuschauer in kleinen Formaten und intimem Raum ist ein programmatischer Ankerpunkt des Festivals, das sechs deutsche Erstaufführungen und zwei Festivalkoproduktionen präsentiert.

The 2020 BLICKWECHSEL festival will run from 20 – 27 June.

This years’ edition BEST FRIENDS invites timeless productions and shows by artists, who left a mark on the genre, as well as young artists’ work to the city of Magdeburg. The variety of productions provides an insight into the scope of contemporary puppetry, visual and object theatre. 32 companies from ten countries in more than 60 performances blur the lines between genres. BEST FRIENDS put a focus on the intimate dialogue between artist and spectator in small formats and intimate spaces. Two productions of the festival will première and six from abroad will be given its first performances in Germany.
