Die Bretagne, Land der Legenden, der salzigen Winde und der stürmischen Küsten. Und Heimat dreier außergewöhnlich mutiger Gestalten: Loïc, Erwan und Erwann. Wenn es in Bad und Küche zu gurgeln beginnt, wenn Rohre verstopfen und das Wasser steigt – dann sind sie zur Stelle!
In Les Impavides Bretons folgen wir drei Handpuppen auf ihrer waghalsigen Mission in die unbekannten Tiefen der Kanalisation. Mit trockenem Humor und derber Neugier dringen sie dorthin vor, wo sich sonst niemand hinwagt – tief hinein in das unterirdische System aus Rohren, Schmutz und Mysterien. Die Compagnie La Mandale verbindet traditionelles Handpuppenspiel mit absurdem Witz, anarchischer Energie und einem kräftigen Schuss Wassereffekt. In ihrer fiktiven Dokumentarserie bietet sie uns einen echten Einblick in die feindliche und zugleich faszinierende Welt der Rohrleitungen. So mutig sind nur Handpuppen! Und natürlich Bretonen.

Brittany, the land of legends, salty winds, and stormy coastlines. And home to three exceptionally brave characters: Loïc, Erwan, and Erwann. When the gurgling begins in the bathroom or kitchen, when pipes clog and the water starts to rise – that’s when they jump into action!
In Les Impavides Bretons, we follow three hand puppets on their daring mission into the unknown depths of the sewer system. With dry humour and gritty curiosity, they venture where no one else dares to go – deep into the underground world of pipes, grime, and mystery. Compagnie La Mandale combines traditional hand puppetry with absurd humour, anarchic energy, and a generous splash of water effects. In their fictional documentary series, they offer a rare glimpse into the hostile and fascinating world of drainage systems. Only hand puppets are this brave. And of course – Bretons.
